Stewart Swain obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports medicine from Metropolitan College of Denver in 1991. He completed a Master of Education degree in science education from Xavier University in 2004. A life-long enthusiast of science of all varieties, Stewart Swain has worked as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at the United States Air Force Academy, free-lanced as an emergency flight & ground paramedic in the Desert Southwest, owned and managed a physical therapy clinic in Arizona, and taught high school chemistry and physics in Ohio and North Carolina. Now a professional writer, Stewart Swain currently resides on the coast of North Carolina and claims the Great Outdoors to be his greatest inspiration.
